Gary's career began as an auditor and client financial advisor in the "go go" days of the oil and gas industry in Houston. Promoted to partner of the then largest "Big Eight" accounting firm, Peat, Marwich, Mitchell & Company within 10 years.

Throughout his 35 year career, Gary has started several new businesses, managed large territories, and gained prominent leadership roles in Peat, Marwich, Mitchell & Company, KPMG Consulting, and BearingPoint. A sample of business experience in the Public Services and Commercial industries includes:

• Chief Operations Officer for a technology consulting and services firm with over $150 million in revenue serving both commercial and government clients.
• Senior Vice President - Public Services Managed Services Industry, with overall responsibility for $150 million segment and complete P&L, business development, and solution delivery responsibility.
• Developed and maintained separate accounting system books of record for BearingPoint's largest managed services account, TexasOnline for 9 years.
• Audit partner for KPMG (formerly Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co.) in the Energy and High Technology practices serving largest publicly traded clients in the Southwest Region.
• Built State of Texas into the largest single account in state and local account in BearingPoint, which generated over $75 million in gross revenue annually.
• Developed BearingPoint's National Motor Vehicle industry segment and won over $60 million in new business within 2 years while maintaining other responsibilities.
